In our application department we have the capability to apply almost all application processes for impregnating resins. This equipment pulls up into the position to impregnate and process customer objects under realistic conditions. With this we can carry out tests for and with our customer under various conditions in a realistic production environment. This also allows us to adjust material and process to individual situations.
In our laboratory the following machines and equipments are available:
Trickle equipment (PC-controlled)
This machine is used to trickle and dip-roll armatures and stators. The curing of the resin can be done by current heating or in a separate oven. Stators with an inner diameter of max. 350 mm and rotors with a max. weight of 250 kg can be processed.
VPI-Impregnating equipment
This equipment can be used to impregnate object under vacuum, pressure and atmospheric pressure. Objects with a max. diameter of 400 mm and a max. length of 800 mm can be processed.
Climatic test-chamber
The climatic test-chamber can be used mainly to carry out temperature-cycling tests with encapsulated or potted objects or PCB's. Temperatures between -30°C and + 120°C can be adjusted.
Vacuum chamber
This equipment is used fpr the application of compounds under vacuum atmospheric pressure. It can be used for potting trials for customers as well as testing of product parameters.
Hot-Dip UV equipment
Since 2004 we can impregnate customer objects with UV using a hot-dip process. It is possible to simulate realistic production conditions and to make adjustments to the process.
Asymtek/Nordson equipment
This is a professional application equipment for conformal coatings and thick-film coatings in electronic applications. Based on the programming of the specific object data the machine automatically coats the customers parts e.g. PCB's.
Liquid chemical laboratory
For smaller product modifications or tests of customer resin samples we have installed a ney laboratory.
