History

ELANTAS Camattini S.p.A. was founded as a one-owner company in 1962, specialised in the production and sale of epoxy and polyurethane formulated systems.

In the early 1970s, a true application and Research & Development laboratory was established.

In 1981, the company began a commercial collaboration with Shell Italia, selling its Epikote Shell resins, and this led a few years later (1986) to the creation of a corporation in a 50% partnership with Shell Italia.

Starting from the 90s, thanks to the wide product range developed, ELANTAS Camattini S.p.A. began to win larger and larger market shares in Italy and abroad, thereby growing steadily in terms of both volume and turnover.

Since 1998, the company has been a member of the ALTANA group that includes some of the most highly qualified companies globally.
