Resins for pipe relining

Pipe relining is a composite’s hybrid application. Liner made of PU-PE-PP or PVC, supported by polyester felt or glass reinforcement are impregnated with our epoxy resin and extruded by pressure into the existing pipe. Due to our strong research activities and permanent development of our materials ELANTAS Europe is a leader in resins for the pipe relining market. Our main end use applications are sewage, potable water, ice refrigerated transport systems  as well as water or gas pipes.

We offer a range of systems with different working time sand reactivity, available for small and big diameters.

Our main unfilled epoxy systems are: 

  • Unfilled-light tix-fast react for small diameter pipe sewage, cured to room temperature
  • Unfilled-light tix-medium and slow react for medium and large diameter pipe sewage, cured with hot water or steam
  • Unfilled-light tix-medium and slow react for medium and large diameter pipe potable water, dured with hot water or steam
  • Unfilled-chemical resistant-light tix-latent react for ice refrigerated transport system long distance

Our main filled epoxy systems are: 

  • Filled-light tix-fast react for small diameter pipe sewage, cured to moderate temperature in hot water or steam
  • Filled-light tix-medium a slow react for medium and large diameter pipe sewage, cured with hot water or steam
  • Filled-light tix-medium a slow react for medium and large diameter pipe potable water, cured with hot water or steam
  • Filled-very tix –medium a slow react for potable water and gas in flexible liner, cured with steam or hot water
