With its product innovation Bectron PT 4700 N, ELANTAS offers a solvent-free, light-curing conformal coating solution with excellent adhesion that requires no curing oven in the production process. Unlike conventional coating processes using solvent-based varnishes which typically require oven curing times of up to 20 minutes, Bectron PT 4700 N cures completely at room temperature – in record time: in just 5 to 10 seconds under broadband UV light or in 10 to 20 seconds using an LED curing device. As a result, the ELANTAS coating solution drastically reduces process time and space requirements in production, while significantly lowering energy costs – by a factor of 45 (UV) to 400 (LED), depending on the light source. Thanks to its solvent-free formulation, ELANTAS Bectron PT 4700 N also minimizes harmful emissions, thereby making a substantial contribution to a safer, healthier working environment and more sustainability – all while delivering maximum energy, material, and process efficiency.
