Level up
bonding while
saving curing time

Reduced space requirements
The optimized, precise curing mechanism reduces waiting times in production, thereby minimizing the amount of storage space needed.

Reduced curing time
Precise, rapid curing reduces the overall curing time by up to 50%, thereby accelerating the production process.

Longer processing window
The extended pot life offers greater flexibility when applying the adhesive and makes assembly easier, especially when working with large components.
The innovative Snap-Cure catalyst technology with ELANTAS Damival® U633/H907 enables the curing process to begin at a precisely defined time during the polyurethane bonding of large components. This results in highly efficient manufacturing processes with measurable time, space, and cost savings. Compared to conventional curing processes, ELANTAS Snap-Cure technology delays the increase in the reactive adhesive’s viscosity over a defined period of time, thereby ensuring a significantly longer processing window before the precisely defined snap curing process initiates. ELANTAS Snap-Cure reduces the total curing time by up to 50%*, not only reducing waiting times but also saving valuable storage and buffer space in the production facility – for greater flexibility and efficiency in manufacturing.

Level up coating while using less material

Reduced material costs
Using less material reduces component weight by up to 60% compared to conventional potting, thereby cutting production costs.

Perfect protection
The excellent coverage of the electronic components’ edges offers reliable protection, especially in the case of complex component pography
on the circuit board.

High reproducibility
The applied polymer layer’s outstanding flow properties ensure highly precise coating with unparalleled repeat accuracy.
The Flood-Coating technology with ELANTAS CONASHIELD™ CS 313 combines the low material usage of a conventional protective coating with the encapsulation of a potting process. It thereby combines the advantages of both processes into a high-performance, material-saving, and weight-reducing coating technology with long-term insulation and protective properties. The ELANTAS Flood-Coating process applies an even, thick protective layer with high adhesive strength that completely covers and perfectly protects all electronic components, regardless of their shape and size. The precise application of the coating prevents free spaces from being filled unnecessarily. This cuts material costs and reduces component weight by up to 60% compared to conventional potting – with the same performance.
Level up trickling while cutting energy

Reduced space requirements
Lower process temperatures reduce the need for heating equipment and therefore reduce the production space required.

Reduced energy consumption
Compared to one-component trickling, 2C-Tricking reduces energy consumption by up to 50%, thereby also lowering carbon emissions.

Faster processes
Shorter curing and cooling times make the entire manufacturing process faster and more efficient.
The 2C-Trickling technology with ELAN-protect® EP 205 from ELANTAS offers a sustainable solution for the electrical insulation of windings in electric motors. Unlike trickling with single-component resins, ELANTAS 2C-Trickling is based on a two-component epoxy resin formulation that enables reliable gelation and rapid curing, even at low temperatures of around 60°C. This not only protects the component itself, but also results in shorter processing times, lower operating costs, and reduced space requirements, e.g., for heating devices or cooling sections. At the same time, the 2C-Trickling of ELANTAS reduces energy consumption by up to 50%*, thereby also lowering carbon emissions and enabling an efficient and resource-saving manufacturing process.
