Materials for low voltage

Complete material solutions for reliable electrical insulation

Three product families for every low‑voltage need

In various segments, from industrial applications to household appliances, mobility solutions, and compact electronic systems, low-voltage insulation materials ensure safe and reliable performance. They safeguard electrical functionality, stabilize components, and support efficient operation even under demanding conditions.

ELANTAS offers three complementary low-voltage insulation product families: Impregnating Materials, Casting & Potting Materials, Flexible Electrical Insulation Materials

Each product group can be applied on its own to solve a specific need or combined when a device benefits from multiple layers of insulation and protection.

Purpose & function

Ensuring safety, stability, and thermal control

Across low‑voltage components, ELANTAS materials enable electrical insulation, structural stabilization, and protection under varying thermal and mechanical conditions throughout the entire service life.

Impregnating materials
consolidate windings, eliminate air pockets, improve heat dissipation, and strengthen the mechanical integrity of the application.
Casting & potting materials
encapsulate parts to protect them from vibration, moisture, dust, chemicals, and thermal shock, while enhancing dielectric reliability and managing heat.
Flexible electrical insulation materials
form essential dielectric barriers inside machines, preventing contact between conductive elements and supporting mechanical integrity.
Portfolio & applications

Covering the full range of components

The ELANTAS low‑voltage portfolio supports a wide range of electrical and electronic components.

Impregnating materials are for example used for sensors, relays, coils/inductors, small transformers and low voltage motors.

Casting & potting systems serve applications such as sensor housings, filters, relays, capacitors, ignition coils, PCB assemblies, battery modules or low voltage transformers.

Flexible electrical insulation materials are applied as slot liners, phase insulation, interlayer barriers, tapes, and laminates in low voltage motors, small generators, transformers, actuators, and compact electrical assemblies.
