Dr. Murray Named VP and Director ELANTAS Global Technology Development

St. Louis, MO, February 11, 2020 – ELANTAS PDG, Inc. (EPDG) announces the promotion of Dr. Thomas Murray to Vice President and Director of ELANTAS Global Technology Development. In his new role, Dr. Murray will be responsible for scouting and executing key technology projects run by ELANTAS globally. He will continue to lead the Basic Research team of ELANTAS PDG, Inc. as part of the global innovation workforce and be responsible for the EPDG analytical lab. Dr. Murray continues to provide technology support to key EPDG customers with his valuable contributions.

Dr. Thomas Murray has been working for ELANTAS PDG, Inc. since December 2001 and has made significant contributions not only to EPDG but also to the ELANTAS business in bringing key technologies to life. Among many others, his work has been honored with the ALTANA Innovation Award in 2016 for the development of the ELAN-Film® flexible insulation concept.

Ronald Goetter, currently responsible for Applied R&D, will take over part of Dr. Murray’s responsibilities and will lead Applied R&D, Technical Service, Application Technology and Plant Support Teams for both EPDG sites in St. Louis and Olean. 

Goetter joined ELANTAS PDG, Inc. in 1999 and has been instrumental in successfully leading the Applied R&D team and supporting Dr. Murray in his previous role.
