The St. Louis site serves as the headquarters of ELANTAS North America and is a major manufacturing, quality and R&D center. Originally founded in 1919, the location has evolved into a comprehensive production site for specialty resins, wire enamels, electronics and engineering materials.

The facility operates multiple production units supported by fully equipped quality control laboratories and an R&D center focused on innovation, application development and customer-specific solutions.

The site operates in accordance with internationally recognized quality and environmental standards, including ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and IATF 16949.

Schenectady, New York – Manufacturing & technology center

The Schenectady site is a long-standing manufacturing and technology center with roots dating back to 1940. It specializes in liquid insulation systems such as resins, varnishes and potting compounds, as well as solid insulation materials including flexible laminates, mica tapes and coated materials.

The location features low- and high-voltage testing laboratories with UL- and IEEE-compliant capabilities, supporting material validation, performance testing and the development of new insulation systems. The site is certified to ISO 9001 and IATF 16949.

Olean, New York – Formulation & R&D expertise

The Olean site is a key U.S. manufacturing and research location within ELANTAS North America, with origins dating back to 1958. The facility produces formulated resins for electronics, electrical insulation and specialty adhesive applications and includes both manufacturing operations and a dedicated R&D laboratory.

Olean plays an important role in formulation development and technical collaboration across the North American network, strengthening ELANTAS’s product portfolio and supporting global customers with specialized expertise.
