Italy – Centers of competence for liquid insulation and wire enamels
ELANTAS Europe Srl. operates several sites in Italy, including Ascoli Piceno, Collecchio and Quattordio, which together form a strong backbone for liquid insulation materials and wire enamels.
Ascoli Piceno serves as the European center of competence for wire enamels, combining complex synthesis, advanced R&D and global supply capabilities.
Collecchio focuses on epoxy and polyurethane compounds, casting and potting resins, impregnating systems and materials for composites, adhesives, supported by extensive application laboratories.
Quattordio specializes in wire enamels, impregnating and finishing varnishes and has evolved into the group’s center of competence for this product family, integrating synthesis, blending, R&D and technical customer support.

Switzerland – High‑voltage insulation and composites
ELANTAS Europe AG in Breitenbach is a key European site for high‑voltage insulation materials and advanced composites. The location specializes in high‑voltage tapes, conductive and semi‑conductive tapes, as well as aerospace, automotive and ballistic composite materials.
It hosts the high‑voltage R&D center, supporting the development of next‑generation insulation systems with a strong focus on performance and sustainability. It´s further home to the ELANTAS Institute of High Voltage Insulation.

France – Mica paper excellence
Valdoie Mica SAS in France is a recognized center of excellence for mica paper production. As one of the earliest mica paper plants worldwide, the site produces a full range of calcined and non‑calcined mica papers using all defined pulping technologies. These materials are supplied internally to support insulation tape manufacturing and high‑performance electrical insulation systems across ELANTAS.
