The Bectron PL 4122 conformal coating provides a durable thin coating for electoral protection of printed electronics and control devices. The coating performs in a wide range of temperatures and environmental conditions while providing excellent chemical resistance. This ELANTAS product is CMR and aromatic solvent free for fewer emissions and a healthier working environment.
Electronic circuit boards are the centerpiece of countless applications – from mobile devices to automotive electronics, from household appliances to industrial machinery. Conformal coatings protect against humidity, dust, vibration, and thermal stress. They form a dense, insulating layer over the PCB contours, safeguarding sensitive components without impairing function.
With its product Bectron PL 4122, ELANTAS offers a range of conformal coating solutions that can be used in a wide breadth of applications such as automotive electronics, household appliances, and industrial controllers. These products come in a variety of solvent packages and solids to fit your spray or dip processing. This offers flexible processing characteristics along with the PL 4122 products ease of use attributes, such as fast curing, complete wetting, and compatibility to no-clean flux.
The PL 4122 has strong cross linking to help provide improved chemical resistance to materials such as Toluene, transformer oil, washing liquids, and acidic and basic materials like Hydrochloric Acid and Sodium Hydroxide. This also contributes to the ability of the coating to excel in aggressive thermal conditions for urethane based coatings with thermal index of 134°C and thermal shock ranging from -40 to 150°C.
Thanks to its specially formulated solvent package, ELANTAS Bectron PL 4122 avoids the use of aromatic solvents helping to improve the flash point. Not only do the solvent packages reduce the hazards of emissions, but they also avoid some common packages that use carcinogenic risk materials. This contribution to a safer, healthier working environment and improved sustainability.
