Electric motors

Innovative ELANTAS winding insulation materials enable discharge resistance, high efficiency, power density, long service life and better heat dissipation paired with excellent processability.
Electric motors are the driving force behind every electrified vehicle. Depending on the vehicle architecture, motors may be connected via gearboxes, integrated into hybrid systems, or designed as in‑wheel eMotors.
Rising system voltages (400 V to 1,200 V), increasing power density, and limited installation space place high demands on motor insulation systems. Efficient thermal management, mechanical stability, and resistance to partial discharge are critical to achieving long motor lifetime and consistent performance.
